Autumn newsletter

A look back at the summer, and everything coming up between now and the end of October.

Summer highlights at Forest Camp

This summer we enjoyed three weeks of adventures in July and August, exploring three main themes: water and the elements, forest explorers, and guardians of nature.

The children particularly loved searching for animal tracks, taking part in orienteering challenges, discovering animal yoga, and following the adventures of the mysterious Forest Guardian. Another highlight was meeting the EDF team, who helped the children discover how dams work and learn about the right behaviours and safety guidelines around water.

Three weeks filled with discovery, teamwork, nature and wonderful memories shared together.

A family activity idea

Straight from the newsletter, to play at home.

Animal memory game

Fun for the whole family!
  1. 1Draw

    your favourite animals on cards.

  2. 2Stick

to the bottom (inside) of turned-over cardboard cups everything you find in nature and that is in relief: leaves, flowers, pinecones, pine needles, bark.

  3. 3Hide and play

place all the cups upside down and mix them up. Turn over two at a time: if it is a matching pair, well done. If not, turn them back over in the same place and keep playing.

Draw, stick, hide, mix… and find the matches!

A beautiful game to boost memory, connect with nature and spark creativity.
