Environmental Educator · Mountain Leader
Violette Noel Baron
Violette spent years travelling France and abroad before putting her bags down in the Chamonix valley ten years ago.
“Nature is the most generous teacher I know — we just help children notice.”

After several years moving between France and abroad, I chose to set my bags down in the Chamonix valley ten years ago.
I hold a BAFA and an Environmental Mission diploma, which led to six years running environmental education programmes for the school camps of the Arve valley. I'm also a qualified mountain leader.
Teaching children in and through the environment is, above all, about giving them the keys to understanding the world. For me, getting outside is essential. Nature is an unbeatable space to learn about yourself, about others, and about everything around you.
